The Wet Brush is one of the greatest hair inventions ever! Am I right?!? One of my most frequently asked questions is how do I curl my hair, so today on the blog I am sharing my must have hair products!
My hair is naturally straight and very thin which allows me to style my hair pretty much any way I want. I am very thankful for this! If I curl it, it will usually last me throughout the day without going flat. The same goes for straightening it, it will usually stay straight for the entire day.
Several years ago, I discovered the Wet Brush. Let me tell you…this brush is LIFE CHANGING!!! If I was on a deserted island and could only bring 3 things, a wet brush would be 1. That is how much I LOVE this brush, haha! Bonus, a wet brush is super affordable and you can get them at any drug store or on Amazon Prime for under $10 HERE.
This brush is a game changer. No more ripping hair out as you brush it out! Wet or dry hair, this brush is amazing. If you don’t have one, you are missing out and need to pick one up ASAP! 🙂
Now to curl my hair, I use this wand that also came from Amazon. I got it for Christmas like 8 years ago and it is still going strong! This curling wand is also super affordable and under $17! I have a routine down for curling my hair and it usually does not take me more than 7-8 minutes to curl it in the morning. Honestly, straightening is takes longer, haha!
Now for when I want to wear my hair straight, I use this BaByliss Hair Straightener. My blow dryer is also by BaByliss. I got them as a gift when I was heading off to college four years ago and they have also held up extremely well. I know both of these products are on the more expensive side, but they work extremely well and have held up with using them daily for the past four years.
I usually don’t wear many accessories in my hair, but something I do keep on hand is these small clear elastic bands. They are great for if I just want to pull a portion of my hair up or if I wear braids I use these to secure the ends.
For hair ties, I have recently discovered the invisibobble and use these any time I pull my hair up in a ponytail. They are good about not leaving a crease in your hair. I know it looks kind of weird putting something that looks like an old phone cord in your hair, but trust me, these work!
I think that covers my must have hair products! What is your must have hair product?
